AAPI Board of Trustees – Medical Reserve Corp (MRC)

Dear Member,

The purpose of AAPI Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is to streamline our community volunteer and charity work and organize our disaster relief efforts. AAPI has been very active in the US and globally in responding to natural disasters and in medical volunteer missions. Whether it is in organizing blood donation drives, donate-a-blanket programs, sending medical volunteers to help in camps in Haiti for the earthquake relief or helping in Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in the North East. AAPI members have been critically involved in all these missions and several others.

The MRC will help organize the volunteers and their missions based on 4 regions (North, South, East, West) within the US. Each region will have its own regional director who can communicate with volunteer members and streamline our efforts towards missions. MRC members can be premed students, medical students, residents, fellows, attending doctors and non medical volunteers.

At this time, we are requesting you to please sign up as a volunteer by sending an email to an Ad Hoc committee Member listed below, so that we can organize MRC training for you and get you registered.

Looking forward to furthering our mission in AAPI with you!
